Harmony
Forest School

At Harmony Forest School, the natural world is both classroom and teacher. Set on the protected lands of the Richardson Bay Audubon Sanctuary, children spend their days exploring, building, imagining, and connecting deeply with the earth. Through movement, play, and discovery, they develop resilience, problem-solving skills, and a sense of wonder. Our emergent curriculum grows alongside the children and the seasons, allowing their interests to guide exploration and learning. Activities may include observing wildlife, tending gardens, hiking among oaks and redwoods, storytelling, music, theatre, and studying the plants and creatures that share our world. Through these hands-on, nature-immersive experiences, children develop resilience, independence, and collaboration while building strong social-emotional skills.

The forest environment nurtures strong bodies, creative minds, and caring hearts. Surrounded by beauty, community, and open sky, children learn to care for themselves, each other, and the world around them.
